
Adrián Noriega, M.D., Ph.D.
Adrián Noriega, M.D., Ph.D., is a physician-scientist specializing in Alzheimer’s disease and neurovascular
conditions, with a focus on clinical development and biomarker-driven trial strategies. He serves as Senior
Scientist in vascular and behavioral neurosciences at The Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital and the
Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University. Dr. Noriega is also the MIT-Novo Nordisk
AI Fellow at MIT and the Broad Institute, where he develops novel strategies for drug development and
delivery in neurodegenerative diseases.
In addition, Dr. Noriega is the Chief Medical Advisor at Perceiv Research, a precision neurology company
focused on forecasting disease progression to optimize clinical trials. His work centers on advancing biomarker
science, precision trial design, and therapeutic development in Alzheimer’s and related disorders. He has been
recognized as an Emerging Leader by the World Heart Federation, a Veterans Affairs-MIT Catalyst Fellow, and
a member of the Forbes Technology Council. His research has been supported by the Alzheimer’s Association,
Brain Canada, CIHR, FRQS, and he has been a leader in Alzheimer’s disease advocacy initiatives. Dr. Noriega
also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Alzheimer Society of Montreal and has contributed as an
editorial board member for Stroke and the Canadian Journal of Cardiology.
